In October 2023, Google introduced an enhanced global feature for Google Business Profiles. This feature empowers business owners and managers to seamlessly incorporate links to their social media profiles within their business profiles. This update includes links to various social platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. Enabling social media links on their Google Business Profile enables businesses to offer customers additional avenues for connecting, gathering information, and resolving any issues they may encounter.

Steps to add the social profile to Google Business location 

Step 1: Access your Google Business Profile.

Step 2: Click on 'Edit profile.'

Step 3: Select 'Business information.'

Step 4: Go to 'Contact.'

Step 5: Under 'Social profiles,' choose the social media platform you want to link.

Step 6: Enter the web address associated with your social media profile.

Step 7: To edit an existing link, update the web address for the designated social media link.

Step 8: To remove a link, click the 'Trash' icon next to the social media profile you want to delete.

Step 9: In case Google automatically adds social media links to eligible Business Profiles, you can modify these auto-added links by adding a new link for the same social media platform following the same steps.
